This feature allows for a tailored approach to email communications, ensuring that your brand is accurately represented in each customer interaction.

Email Sender

The "Email sender" configuration in Uppush allows you to customize several key aspects of email communications from your store:

Email Sender Configuration

1. Reply-to Name: This is the name that recipients will see when they reply to your emails. It helps identify your store as the point of contact.

2. Reply-to Address: This email address is where replies will be sent. It's crucial to ensure this is accurate so you don't miss customer responses.

3. Sender Name: This sets the display name of your store for outgoing emails, creating brand consistency and professionalism.

4. Sender Address: Choose between using the Uppush shared domain (like [e-mail]) or a custom domain. Using a custom domain requires domain verification for authenticity, which is necessary for better deliverability and brand alignment.

5. Verification Process: If opting for a custom domain, you need to click "Verify now" and follow the steps to authenticate your domain. This ensures emails sent from your domain are recognized as trustworthy by email servers.

Verify Domain

1. When you click "Verify now," you will be directed to the domain verification page.

2. To verify your domain, click "Add domain to Shopify." This will redirect you to the domain verification page of Shopify, where you can proceed with adding or connecting a domain to ensure that emails sent from your app are properly authenticated and aligned with your brand identity.

3. You can connect your existing domain

If your domain meets the requirements of Shopify, you can choose "transfer it to Shopify". The Transfer Domain feature in Shopify allows you to move a domain from another provider directly to Shopify. Once transferred, Shopify manages all domain settings, including renewals. This feature simplifies the process of managing your online store by centralizing everything within the Shopify platform. If you prefer not to transfer fully, there's also an option to connect the domain without transferring, allowing you to retain management with your current provider while linking it to Shopify.

4. To proceed with connecting your domain, follow Shopify's instructions to find the appropriate guide for your domain provider. Simply click on "Follow settings instructions," and this will help you adjust your provider's settings to link your domain to Shopify seamlessly.

Because my domain provider is GoDaddy, i will follow the instruction Connecting a GoDaddy Domain to Shopify 5. Simply follow the provided instructions. Once you've completed all the steps, click "Verify Connection" to ensure your domain is set up correctly.

Verify email

The "Verify email" feature in the Uppush app allows users to confirm an email address before sending test emails. To do this, enter your email address and click "Request verify email." A verification link will be sent to your email from Amazon Web Service.

Once you verify it through the link, the status will update to "SUCCESS" in the list of verified addresses. This step ensures that your email address is properly verified and ready for sending test emails, helping to maintain email security and deliverability.
