Why is the limit banner not showing on my online store?
Find out common reasons why the limit banner may not appear on your store and how to fix them.
There are a few common reasons why the limit banner may not appear:
Theme extension is not enabled
Go to your Shopify admin → Online Store > Themes > Customize > App embeds.
Make sure Uppush Order Limit Extension is turned on.
Checkout validation or rules not enabled
Open the app dashboard and check that Limit rules and Checkout validation are both enabled.
No active rules created
The banner only shows if there is at least one active rule (product, collection, order). Double-check your rules are saved and turned on.
Theme compatibility issues
Some custom themes use different CSS selectors for cart and checkout buttons. If the banner doesn’t show, you may need to adjust CSS selectors in the app settings or contact our support team.
